Lo Scaricatore

The path, of short duration but with a modest walking difficulty, leads to the beach known as Lo Scaricatore, mainly rocky with a modest beach; the name originates from the times of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, when the ships used to unload the goods, subsequently sorted for the peninsula. The area offers one of the most beautiful and uncontaminated maritime environments of the peninsula.
The way down begins on asphalted roads and continues along stairways. We recommend to pay the highest attention, due to constant exposure to falls and slippery parts of the trail.
Once you get down it will be possible to swim.

DIRECTIONS

you can find the entry to the trail along the Amalfitan Road.
Starting from Piano, you can reach the entrance of the route thanks to a road that connects Via Cermenna to the main road
